DOVER, Tenn. (WTVF) — Kirby Wallace, the man who led law enforcement on a week-long manhunt, was indicted on several charges including murder, arson and robbery.
Wallace was kept residents in the rural communities of Stewart and Montgomery Counties on edge as he continued to evade multiple police agencies for 13 days.
On Monday, January 7, Wallace was indicted by a Grand Jury on charges of first degree murder, felony murder, attempted first degree murder, especially aggravated burglary, two counts of especially aggravated robbery, two counts of especially aggravated kidnapping and aggravated arson.

Kirby Wallace Captured After Week-Long Manhunt
Wallace's crime spree allegedly began in May. He was added to the TBI's Top 10 Most Wanted List in September and was finally taken into custody in October. A team led by Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew found him in the woods of Stewart County.
