COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a protester during a demonstration in Cookeville.
The Cookeville Police Department arrested Kevin Pullum and charged him was aggravated assault. Police say Pullen assaulted a protester by grabbing him around the neck.
They say the two argued over a difference of opinion during the protest.
Pullen was taken into custody and transported to the Putnam County Jail. He was given a $7,500 bond and has since been released.
