Authorities in Bowling Green, Kentucky called the death of a Warren County Sheriff's K-9 suspicious.
K-9 Kane was found unresponsive at home by his handler on Friday. He was rushed to the veterinarian, but efforts to revive him were unsuccessful and he passed away.
Officials said his body was sent for an necropsy and pathology to determine the cause of death.
Further details on the investigation had not been released, but detectives confirmed they were conducting the investigation as a suspicious death.
