A man wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Kentucky for a bank robbery was captured in Nashville.
The FBI told officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department about the robbery suspect.
They simply pinged his cell phone to a motel on Woodland Street in East Nashville. He was taken into custody without incident.
Officials blasted the surveillance picture of Brannon Shelburne after they said he robbed a bank in a trendy and popular area in Louisville. Within minutes, tips came in helping identify the robber.
Investigators said the suspect approached an employee on Thursday and presented a note demanding money. None of the employees were injured.
The following day, Metro officials found Shelburne at the motel.
Arrest reports said he was staying with a woman who was also arrested for drug possession.
The 34-year-old suspect was being held in jail in Nashville facing a $100,000 bond.
