(WTVF) — In true 2020 fashion, a tropical storm that dissipated has come back to life.
Monday evening, Tropical Storm Paulette redeveloped in the Atlantic Ocean -- something that is not common but also, not unheard of.
While Paulette did strengthen into a Category 2 hurricane during its first go-around, it is not expected to intensify into a hurricane again or have any threat to the United States.
Paulette is located southeast of The Azores and moving east at 14 mph. If the current track holds, the storm eventually will move into the country of Portugal.
