NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Impeachment rallies were held around the country Tuesday including downtown Nashville.

Dozens of people gathered in at the federal courthouse on Broadway for the "Nobody is Above the Law" rallies. Many of them held signs that read "Impeach and Remove."

The nationwide rallies were organized by MoveOn.org - an activist group dedicated to mobilizing "for a better society." Organizers urged Rep. Jim Cooper to "hold this President to account."

The group said the rallies were set to be held at or near more than 600 congressional offices and public squares to declare that "nobody is above the law."
