COLUMBIA, Tenn. - A horse trainer has been accused of trying to hit a protestor with his truck.

The incident happened at a Tennessee Walking Horse Show in Columbia back in May, and it was all caught on camera.

The Maury County Grand Jury indicted the driver of that truck and trailer, identified as Jamie Lawrence.

The horse trainer has now been formally charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The woman he allegedly veered into was part of a group protesting the horse show because of suspected soring widely associated with Tennessee Walking Horses.
