HERMITAGE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Kroger on Old Hickory Boulevard in Hermitage reopened on Sunday after being directly hit by Tuesday morning's tornado.
The Hermitage and Donelson areas were hit hard by a tornado that was on the ground for 60 miles.
Surveillance video from the grocery store shows the powerful storm rolling in. In the beginning of the 11-minute 30-second long video, you can see customers leaving and entering the store.
About 5 minutes in, the power in the parking lot kicks off and quickly the tornado rolls through, tossing cars in the parking lot and sending one into the entrance of the store.

One man in the Kroger parking lot said he's thankful to be alive after he was stuck in his pickup truck when the tornado hit. At least four cars were flipped in the parking lot.
The pharmacy area of the store was hit the hardest, so Kroger has opened a mobile pharmacy in its parking lot.
Many sections of the store were limited on Sunday, but Kroger says most products should be available by Tuesday.
