(WTVF) — With two-thirds of addicts getting their drugs from family or friends, it's more important than ever to dispose of unused prescriptions.
Saturday, October 26 is "Drug Take Back Day" across the country and right here in Tennessee there are many places you can participate.
Each site provides a safe, free and anonymous place to dispose unused or expired prescription medicines.

The event is part of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's 18th National Prescription Drug Take Back day. In April, 937,443 pounds of unused or expired prescription medications were dropped off at sites operated by the DEA.
