Posted

Police were asking for help from the public to identify the suspect in an armed robbery at a Nashville restaurant.

The robbery happened at the Wing-Stop location at 4122 Nolensville Pike  just after midnight.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the suspect was armed with a pistol when he walked into the restaurant and ordered workers to give him everything in the safe.

The suspect then allegedly forced the employees into the bathroom and fled the scene with the money. Police did not say how much cash the suspect was able to take.

No one was injured in the incident.

Video surveillance captured images of the male suspect. He was seen wearing what was described as a burgundy hoodie, black sweat pants, and had a red scarf covering his face.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspect has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME (615-742-7463).
