Officials on the scene said a car and a medical vehicle carrying radioactive material collided.
The driver of the medical vehicle was transported to an area hospital. That person was expected to be okay.
Hazmat were called to check on radioactive levels as a precaution.
Behind that wreck, a secondary crash happened when a driver struck a wall and hit a Tennessee Department of Transportation truck.
No major injuries were reported.
Both crashes caused a significant delay along the interstate.
