NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Former U.S. Sen. Bob Corker has congratulated President-elect Joe Biden on his victory in the 2020 presidential election.
Corker extended his congratulations in a tweet on Tuesday, saying:
“I congratulate President-elect Biden and wish him well as he organizes to lead our country. After 2016 and 2020, surely our country can improve our election system where results are beyond question — and beyond demagoguery from either side of the aisle.”

After 2016 and 2020, surely our country can improve our election system where results are beyond question — and beyond demagoguery from either side of the aisle.
On Monday, Gov. Bill Lee said he wasn’t ready to recognize Biden as the president-elect, joining a growing list of Republican leaders who say they are waiting on the outcome of various vote recounts and legal challenges.
When asked, Lee declined to answer directly if he believes there has been widespread voter fraud in the presidential election. It’s a claim President Donald Trump has made without evidence, while recent court rulings have dismissed such allegations.
Instead, Lee said he's willing to work with either the Trump or Biden administration.
