CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - New information has emerged involving the case of one of Brandon Vandenburg's former attorneys, Fletcher Long.

Long said he’s officially no longer a lawyer.

He was sentenced Wednesday in connection with a conviction on extortion involving a former client, unrelated to Vandenburg and the Vanderbilt rape case.

Long received four years unsupervised probation, and he was ordered to pay $2,000 restitution.

He also surrendered his law license effectively ending his legal career.

Long said he was working as the host of a talk show on a Clarksville radio station.
