Crews responded to what appeared to be a fully-involved house fire in East Nashville.
According to Greg Spring with the Nashville Fire Department, the home was vacant when the flames broke out and appears to have been vacant for a while.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
Spring said the overgrown trees and bushes surrounding it made tough for firefighters to actually reach the home with hoses.
The house was significantly damaged. Once they learned it was vacant firefighters were pulled back for their safety, but they continued to put out the flames.
