MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Mufreesboro Fire Rescue Department responded to a house fire Sunday evening.
The call came in around 6:20 p.m. for 208 Chamberlain Drive.
Officials say flames and smoke were visible before they put out the blaze.
A search of the house revealed no one was home at the time. The fire is believed to have started in the back bedroom. The bedroom received the most fire damage, but there is smoke and heat damage throughout the house.
It's still unclear what started the fire. The Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
