FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — A father is talking for the first time after his teenage daughter was assaulted after getting a flat tire on I-65 in Franklin.

Police say the attacker is still on the loose, and they continue to pore over dozens of leads.

The victim's father, who didn't want to be identified, says his daughter is recovering, but understandably still shaken.

"I watched her today, she didn't want to drive," the father said. "She's scared to death."

This all happened near the Sam's Club on Mallory Lane. If you saw the attack or know anything about it, police want you to call CrimeStoppers at 794-4000.

For now, Franklin Police say if you break down on the road, call 911 for help to let dispatchers know, and then stay in your car with it locked until police arrive.
