NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Over the last several days many have expressed joy over the pleasantly cool temperatures we’ve seen in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. And, the cooler temperatures have been fitting since fall officially began Tuesday morning.

The Climate Prediction Center released the latest 6-10 day temperature outlook today, and it shows more great news for those loving the cooler temps! The outlook shows temperatures for the rest of September and the first days of October will remain below average throughout the Mid-South!

This outlook is a stark contrast from this time last year when we were dealing with highs well above normal in the 90s for the end of September and start of October.
