A manhunt has gotten underway for an escaped inmate in East Tennessee.
Police in Greene County said they are looking for Charles Lawson. The 24-year-old allegedly took off from work duty by stealing a Parks and Rec. vehicle.
He was believed to be in a 2007 white Ford F-350 with Town of Greeneville written on the doors and government tag number GY0397.
Lawson was last seen on Old Asheville Highway of the South Greene Community.
Police said he’s facing charges of escape, among multiple others.
