GALLATIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Last week was National School Bus Safety Week and one Middle Tennessee school district is going the extra mile to train its bus drivers.
In Sumner County, bus drivers were given a refresher course on how to handle worst-case scenarios. The exercise reminds drivers where emergency exits are and they even practice getting out of those exits.
