LYLES, Tenn. (WTVF) — Kids at Camp Okawehna, in Lyles, Tennessee all suffer from kidney disease, but thanks to a doctor and selfless volunteers, they're having the time of their lives.
The camp was created, to allow them to have a normal camping existence.
The children come from all over the country, accompanied by their actual doctors and nurses, who can make sure the children receive their dialysis.
It's a nonprofit, that depends on the donations of friends and family - no child is turned away for lack of funds.
