2 Drivers Injured In Antioch Crash Involving School Bus

ANTIOCH, Tenn. – Two drivers were injured Tuesday morning in a crash involving a school bus in Antioch. 

The incident happened shortly before 8 a.m. in the area near the intersection of Bell Road and Cane Ridge Road, just off Interstate 24. 

Officials with Metro police said a car was turning onto Bell Road from a complex when it struck another vehicle. That driver swerved into oncoming traffic and hit the school bus head-on. 

No children were on board the bus at the time of the crash. 

The drivers of the second car and the school bus were taken to Tri-Star Southern Hills Medical Center with minor injuries.

No identities were released. There have been no charges filed at this time. 

The wreck has been cleared and both roads have reopened.
