Dozens have left tributes to Sergeant Daniel Baker on a Dickson County squad car, which was parked outside First Baptist Church on Highway 70.
Balloons, flowers, and messages in Baker's honor and memory were reminders of what he sacrificed for his community.
One of those messages read, "Thank you for your service."
Baker was shot and killed on May 30 while on duty.
"His service and dedication to his country and community will always be remembered," said Dickson County Sherrif Jeff Bledsoe.
According to the Taylor Funeral Home website, Baker's services will be held Tuesday, June 5 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Dickson with Dr. Mike Miller officiating.
Visitation was set for Monday, June 4 at First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of his service at 1 p.m.
Sgt. Baker will be laid to rest at the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
