NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — To prepare for the upcoming voter registration deadline, the Davidson County Election Commission will extend its hours on Saturday and Monday.

Monday, October 5 is the last day to register to vote for the November General Election in Tennessee.

"Anyone who needs to register is welcome to come by our office this Saturday or after work on Monday," said Jeff Roberts, administrator of elections. “We will be happy to help them get ready to vote.”

On Saturday, the office located at 1417 Murfreesboro Pike will open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Monday, it will stay open until 7 p.m.

"After completing their registration, we can go over their voting options: absentee by mail, early voting in-person, and Election Day in person,” Roberts said. "We’ll have Absentee Ballot Request forms available, along with early voting schedules and Election Day location information. We want all Davidson County voters to be fully prepared to participate in the November 3 election.”

New voters can also register online by visiting GoVoteTN.gov.
