Nashville Electric Service customers near Myatt Drive in Madison were without power early Thursday morning after a crash took out a power line.
The crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. on Myatt Drive near Roosevelt Avenue.

Metro Nashville police said a person inside the vehicle was found with a gunshot wound. Investigators said it was a self-inflicted, accidental gunshot wound.
The crash took out the power pole, leading to an outage affecting 267 NES customers.
NES crews on scene expect restoration efforts to last through 7 a.m.
