GALLATIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — The death toll at the Gallatin nursing home hit hard by the Coronavirus has climbed to eight. Over the weekend, three more residents passed away.
Meanwhile, many residents who were moved out of the Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing because of the outbreak, were returned to the facility over the weekend after the nursing home said it had thoroughly cleaned the place.
However, at least three of those residents, we're told, were sent back to the hospital because they were having trouble breathing and showing other signs of Covid 19.
More than a hundred residents and staff tested positive for the new Coronavirus. And the state Health Department has warned that many of those who did not initially get sick, will likely start showing symptoms in the next week or so.
