WARREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 33-year-old man died Monday morning after an accident at the Bridgestone facility in Warren County.
According to the Warren County Sheriff's Department, Beau Lowe died after a piece of equipment fell on him.
He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Tennessee OSHA is conducting an investigation into the incident.
Bridgestone America released the following statement Monday afternoon:
On Monday, June 8, a contractor who worked at our Warren County Truck and Bus Radial Tire Plant passed away following an accident at the facility. We are currently investigating the situation. At this time, we do not have any further details about this incident. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends and co-workers at our Warren County operation. Counseling is being made available for those in need of support.
The facility is located in Morrison.
