NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Calling all writers, poets and artists! The Community Resource Center needs your help to take part in its latest initiative.
It's called "Love Your Neighbor Notes"- cards that are included in hygiene kits distributed to those in need.
On average the center distributes 40,000 to 50,000 hygiene kits a year, which include basic essentials like tooth brushes, shampoo, and cleaning products. Recipients vary from seniors, to entire families.
"When someone is really in the dumps or trying to figure out what their next step is or how they're going to provide, just having something that's straight, 100% unconditional love really can make a difference in someone's life," said Executive Director of the Community Resource Center, Tina Doniger.
If you'd like to donate a card you can drop them off in front of the building or mail them to the center.
