CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WTVF) — CBS has announced a new on-hour entertainment special that will be broadcast later this year.

The special, Lip Sync to the Rescue, will be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer and is inspired by the recent viral video phenomenon #LipSyncChallenge.

Lip Sync to the Rescue will be an interactive countdown special where viewers can cote for what they deem the best video performances. These performances will feature first responders from all over the country lip-syncing to hit music.

One participating group of first responders are from the police department in Cleveland, TN. These officers recorded a full-fledged music video, lip-syncing to the song Havana by Camila Cabello.

Fans of the special or of the first responders participating can begin showing their support this month at CBS.com.

Viewers are able to pick their favorite featured video and vote for it as many times as they want.

The top 10 videos after this initial period will be revealed during the show with the top two videos advancing and the winner being determined by a LIVE vote during the broadcast.
