Carters Creek Pike in Maury County has been closed in both directions after a cement truck slammed into a bridge.
The crash happened around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday between Nashville Highway and Darks Mill Road on the north side of Columbia.
Details about any injuries were not available.
Crews were working to determine the extent of the damage to the bridge.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes were closed while crews worked at the scene, and were not expected to open until 10 a.m. Drivers have been asked to find alternative routes.
