Local theatre students got quite the learning experience when Broadway talent from the play The Book of Mormon visited their stage.
Three actors from traveling show stopped by Belmont University. Belmont students got to learn from the pros about auditioning and training for Broadway shows.
For former Belmont student Candace Quarrells, it was a bit of a homecoming. She stars in the play and had some advice for students of her Alma Mater looking to follow in her footsteps.
"Just persevere. Stay in class. Always keep learning. There's always something new to learn, always a way to better yourself and your talent, and if you just keep on, it happens. If you love it enough, it will love you back."

The first performance starts tonight at 7:30 p.m. and the last Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
