NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Bridge Ministry held its 15th annual Bridge to Christmas event Tuesday night.

Every Tuesday, the Bridge Ministry of Nashville is underneath the Jefferson Street bridge serving the homeless. But as the weather gets colder and Christmas comes closer, the ministry works even harder.

Volunteers brought Christmas cheer to folks under the bridge Tuesday. They did their usual serving of giving out food and other supplies.

But they also offered live Christmas music and gave out presents to the kids.

Santa Claus also took time out of his busy schedule tonight to talk with just some of the 1,500 homeless children we have here in Davidson County.
