DICKSON, Tenn. (WTVF) — Test results show that blood found on a shovel from the Daniels' Dickson home did not belong to 5-year-old Joe Clyde Daniels.
NewsChannel 5 learned Tuesday preliminary DNA testing found that blood did not come from the 5-year-old. Rather, it tested positive for Joseph Daniels, who is charged in his son's murder.
Just last week, blood found on Joseph's pants were tested and also came back as his own blood, not Joe Clyde's.
The little boy's body has never been found; so any blood evidence could be key to the case if it was his.
Parents Joseph and Krystal Daniels are set to stand trial early next year.
