NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Black Nashville Assembly held a virtual "State of Black Nashville Town Hall" Saturday afternoon.
Community leaders, advocates, and elected officials were among panelists who led group discussions. The three hour event focused on conversations surrounding education, health care, housing, and public safety, among other topics. The event also included comedy and lyrical performances.
Organizers say the event is part of their political agenda to meet the needs of black communities in Nashville.
