NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nashville's Black Abbey Brewing Company is holding its annual beer and cookie tasting, but this year, there will be a few tweaks due to the pandemic.
Saturday marks the fifth year of the event. Typically, the tastings are held at the taproom, but this year it's going virtual.
You can order one of their cookie and beer tasting kits online, then pick it up today or tomorrow morning.
Then, Black Abbey will lead you through a live tasting via Facebook live on Saturday at 4 p.m.
“A lot of people don't think that putting sweet and beer together is necessarily a good idea, but we find it really wakes up, really finds interesting flavors both in the cookies and in the beer itself,” said Carl Meier, founder of Black Abbey Brewing Company.
The kits cost $36 and come with four beers and five types of cookies.
