NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Friends of a local pastor who was shot outside his home said he has been doing well.
Bishop Alonzo Hatchett was reportedly doing better after surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Hatchett was shot Monday night outside his home in North Nashville.
Investigators said the incident happened while he and his wife were getting out of their car. A group of people shot him and assaulted his wife.
Hatchett has been the pastor at Foster Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in North Nashville.
