An inmate who escaped from the Bedford County Jail more than a week ago has been taken into custody in Texas.

Bedford County Sheriff’s officials said Monday that Andrew Philip Marshall was captured in Texas. Additional details of his arrest were not known.

This was the sixth time that Marshall had slipped away from authorities.

Marshall previously escaped from the Bedford County Jail on January 18, when he fled through a door that did not completely shut.

In October 2017, Marshall was also one of three men who escaped custody, but he was captured within a day. He was in jail on misdemeanor charges.
