An injured bald eagle was found a with gunshot wound in Joelton.
Walden's Puddle said the eagle was brought to the sanctuary for treatment, and its caretakers were optimistic about its recovery.
The non-profit also pointed out it is against the law to shoot, capture, kill, or use an eagle in a transaction.
