LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WTVF) — As a Lawrenceburg baby continues to recover from a brutal beating she suffered back in January, the criminal case against her father is moving forward.

Baby Addilyn, who turned 5-months old just last week, is able to now get out and about, but still faces months of recovery linked to trauma to her brain.

Meanwhile, the District Attorney said prosecution is moving forward against Addilyn's father, Michael Fisher, who is charged with attempted homicide in the case. He remains incarcerated at the Lawrence County Jail.

Addilyn's mother, Brooklyn Tidwell, is charged with aggravated child neglect and is free on bond.

Tidwell recently spoke by phone, saying she’s been getting death threats in the case and wants to fight the criminal charges to clear her name. She says she had nothing to do with the abuse and was asleep, not knowing it was happening.
