A local attorney's office is bringing awareness to the problem of texting while driving. They're trying to stop the growing problem by offering some money.

David Weissman of Raybin and Weissman offers scholarships to three young adults around the world, they just have to send a one minute video convincing others not to text and drive.

Weissman hopes a local submission from Blake O'Donnell can make people think twice before texting and driving.

"The sight where Blake's mother was killed by a distracted driver doesn't hit home and doesn't make you realize there is no value to texting and driving, then I don't know what will," said Weissman.
