Officials in Glasgow, Kentucky have made an arrest after a 40-year-old Scottsville man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Kentucky State Police Post 3 was contacted by dispatch in Glasgow just before 4 a.m. Sunday after a body had been seen by a passing driver on Lick Branch Road.
Authorities with the Barren County Sheriff’s Office went to the scene and found the man’s body, and they requested help from KSP.
The victim was identified as 40-year-old Kevin M. Miller.
Detectives discovered a fight had allegedly happened on the roadway between 52-year-old Bobby R. Conatser and Miller.
It reportedly ended with Conatser firing a shotgun, which hit Miller in the back, killing him.
Conatser was arrested and charged with murder. He was being held in the Barren County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
