NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — An arctic blast of air is set to move into the southeast early next week bringing with it the coldest air we’ve seen in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky since 2018.
Wind chills in below zero are possible for some, with actual high temperatures struggling to reach 30 degrees, and lows in the single digits.
While it is the middle of winter and cold temperatures are expected, these temps are well below or normal high and low for this time of the year. Our average low this time of year is in the mid to upper 40s while the average low is in the mid to upper 20s.
