9-year-old survives being ripped from bedroom window in Mt. Juliet tornado

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 9-year-old boy survived being sucked out of his bedroom window in Mt. Juliet when an EF-3 tornado passed through the area Tuesday morning.

Hudson is truly a miracle. His father says he has no idea how his son survived.

The boy was asleep in his second-floor bedroom when they believe the strong winds ripped him from his room and thrown outside covered in debris.

His father fought back tears as he described the moments he found his son alive with only a minor cut to his forehead. On Thursday, Hudson was smiling and playing outside.
