Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested dozens of people and indicted 11 men who were charged with patronizing prostitution from a minor.
From August 2 - 4, TBI worked with the Metropo Nashville Police Department, FBI and the Department of Homeland Security in the undercover prostitution/ human trafficking operation in Nashville.
During the operation, around 40 people were arrested or issued citations on prostitution-related charges.
Each case was reviewed by the office of the Davidson County District Attorney General. The cases were presented to the Davidson County Grand Jury on Aug. 16. They returned charges of 11 people with Patronizing Prostitution from a minor, punishable under Tennessee’s Human Trafficking law (Trafficking for Commercial Sex Act).
Nine of the 11 were arrested by Metro Police, TBI and HSI. The 11 were: Alfredo Alvarez, Dwjuan Bradford, Gary Rashad Canty, Ruben Chavez, Jose Huelitl, Austin Pickering, Samuel Rodriguez-Gonzalez, Keydarius Rucker, Koreyon Watkins
Each was booked into the Davidson County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
