A mom accidentally hit her 7-year-old child while pulling into her home driveway in Nashville.
The incident happened Wednesday night at 3500 Magnum Drive in Hermitage shortly after 7 p.m.
Neighbors told NewsChannel 5 that the child's mother hit the child when pulling into the driveway.
Witnesses told police the child was standing in the yard with his 5-year-old sister, when their mother returned home and pulled her car into the driveway.
While parking, she accidentally hit the 7-year-old with the side of the car. A witness said the incident was accidental.
The child was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with minor injuries. The other child was not hit.
