NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — We're celebrating both Mardi Gras and Beethoven’s birthday this weekend!

Beethoven’s Birthday Bash – Nashville
Thursday – Sunday

The Nashville Symphony is celebrating Beethoven’s 250th birthday with performances of Leonore Overture No. 3, Piano Concerto No. 1 and Symphony No. 3, “Eroica.” World-renowned Irish pianist Barry Douglas joins the orchestra for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1.

24th Annual Summer Camp Adventure Fair – Franklin
Saturday

Nashville Parent's annual camp fair is the best place for you to get a head start on planning your child’s summer. From 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., you can check out more than 75 local day camps, residential sleep-away camps and other summer programs at CoolSprings Galleria.

Mardi Gras Bar Crawl – Nashville

Nashville is transforming into Bourbon Street this weekend! Several local bars are participating at the event (which includes beads, Mardi Gras mask, discounted food and drink, etc.). Tickets range in price from $16-$18. Registration is at the Dawghouse Saloon.

2020 Southern Equine Expo – Murfreesboro

The Eighth Annual Southern Equine Expo returns to the Tennessee Miller Coliseum this weekend. There will be nationally known horsemen, educational seminars, hands-on demonstrations, and more than 85 vendors.

Scott Hamilton at Parnassus Books – Nashville
Sunday

Olympic gold medal-winning figure skater and New York Times bestselling author Scott Hamilton is celebrating the release of his children's book “Fritzy Finds A Hat.” Hamilton teamed up with Brad Paisley to share a story to help parents talk to their children about cancer.

Each ticket includes one signed copy and a photo opportunity Hamilton. Proceeds from the book and a portion of ticket sales will benefit cancer research through the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and Moffitt Cancer Center.
