3 Juveniles Arrested For Hendersonville Vehicle Thefts, Attempted Carjacking

Police in Hendersonville arrested three juveniles for an attempted carjacking and multiple auto thefts.

An investigation began on July 3 after a vehicle was stolen overnight in the area of Haddaway Drive.

A vehicle was also stolen from Nashville on July 7. It was recovered by officials with the Hendersonville Police Department on State Route 386.

Then, just after midnight on July 10, authorities said they responded to an attempted carjacking where the victim was allegedly held at gunpoint. That crime happened in the parking lot of the Hyatt Place hotel on East Main Street.

Just after the attempted carjacking, police said a vehicle was stolen on Cabin Branch Circle.

After investigating each of these crimes, authorities arrested two 13-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy.

The two 13-year-olds were charged with aggravated robbery and three counts of theft over $10,000 for all of these incidents.

The 15-year-old was charged with two counts of theft over $10,000 for the vehicle stolen from Haddaway Drive in Hendersonville and the one recovered on State Route 386.

All three juveniles remained in custody with court dates pending in the Sumner County Juvenile Court.
