Twin brothers have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the shooting of a woman in East Nashville.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon on Litton Avenue near Gallatin Pike.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said 62-year-old Marilyn Jenkins was struck in the hip while she was sitting outside shortly before 3 p.m.

Twin brothers, Quintarius and Quindarius Jordan, were arrested and are both facing charges in connection to the shooting.

Police said Quindarius Jordan was allegedly firing at someone else when Jenkins was hit.

Officers later spotted the suspects’ vehicle on Gallatin Pike. Police said the car was being driven by Jordan’s twin brother, Quintarius.

A pistol was reportedly found in the seat of the car.

Quintarius Jordan was arrested for allegedly being an accessory after Jenkins was shot.

In addition to the shooting, police said Quindarius Jordan was also charged with aggravated assault for the August 25 shooting of an 18-year-old acquaintance behind Litton’s Corner Market at 2830 Gallatin Pike.

That victim was hospitalized with gunshot wounds to his left leg.
