A suspect accused in a double homicide case from more than 20-years-ago has been released from jail after posting bond.

Patrick Streater has been accused of killing two 18-year-old girls in 1996 when they worked at an Exotic Tan business in Nashville.

Melissa Chilton and Tiffany Campbell were killed. The case went unsolved for years until investigators discovered Streater's DNA matched samples found at the crime scene.

On Wednesday, his bond was lowered from $750,000 to $25,000 after the District Attorney's Office announced they have new evidence that needs to be tested.

Streater posted bond Thursday morning and was later released from jail.
