NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was found dead in a North Nashville parking lot after a shooting.
Metro Nashville officers responded to a Marathon gas station on the 2800 block of John A Merritt Boulevard Wednesday night around 8:30.
When officers arrived, they found the body of a 19-year-old man in the parking lot.
They say the suspect vehicle was is a black Chrysler 200.
This is the 36th criminal homicide this year. Seven have happened in the month of July so far and 22 of those remain unsolved.
Altogether last year, there were 85 homicides in Metro Nashville.
