A 19-year-old has been arrested after a chase and crash in Nashville.
Around 11 a.m. Friday, authorities began pursuing a vehicle that had been driving erratically after officials ran the plate and found out it had been stolen in Davidson County.
The driver was later identified as 19-year-old Malik Watson, of Antioch.
Police chased Watson from the ground and the air from Carroll Street near Charles E. Davis Boulevard to Interstate 24 and on to Interstate 65 and Dickerson Pike.
When they attempted a traffic stop at Dickerson Pike and Doverside Drive, Watson did not pull over, speeding into oncoming traffic instead.
Watson crashed a mile down the road at Moorewood Drive and Spears Road and fled on foot.
He was arrested when he ran out of the woods, and he admitted to stealing the car, saying someone left the keys inside.
